In a strong show of commitment to employee well-being and mental health awareness, Dufu Technology Corp. Berhad (Dufu) recently welcomed a delegation from Taiwan’s Teacher Zhang Foundation (台灣張老師基金會) for a special mental wellness session held on 10 June 2025, at its Penang facility.

Three licensed counselling psychologists, Ms. Tu Xi Min, Ms. Huang Yu-Chen, and Mr. Xu Mao Hong  led the program, delivering practical tools and insightful discussions drawn from Taiwan’s well-regarded Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The session was made possible through a collaborative effort between Dufu, the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce (Penang), and the Penang Alumni of Taiwanese Universities.

The one-day event focused on critical topics such as emotional regulation, stress management, and psychological resilience targeting on areas often experienced silently in today’s fast-paced workplaces. Through interactive activities and guided reflections, employees were encouraged to explore their emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment. A central message resonated throughout the session: “Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.” The psychologists emphasized that acknowledging and addressing mental health challenges is an important step in building both personal and organizational resilience.

“This initiative underscores our belief that behind every role and title is a human being, each facing their own unique challenges,” said a Dufu HR spokesperson. “By creating an environment where our employees feel heard, supported, and valued, we not only enhance productivity but cultivate a culture of care and mutual respect.”

Dufu extended its sincere appreciation to the Teacher Zhang Foundation and partnering organizations for their expertise and heartfelt engagement. The visit marks the beginning of a broader effort by Dufu to prioritize mental wellness as a key pillar of its corporate culture.

As the company continues to invest in the holistic development of its workforce, initiatives like these serve as reminders that emotional and psychological health are essential components of a thriving workplace.
