Dufu Technology held its highly anticipated Team Building 2025 event on 10 June 2025, with the inspiring theme “Building Bonds, Breaking Limits!” The full-day program, hosted at the scenic Mercure Hotel in Penang, successfully brought together 80 exempt staff members for a dynamic day of team-focused activities.
The event opened with uplifting speeches by Chairman Dato’ Lee and Chief Financial Officer Mr. David Khoo, who emphasized the importance of collaboration, resilience, and Dufu’s commitment to people-centric growth.
Despite early rain shifting outdoor activities indoors, the spirit of teamwork remained undeterred. The program was seamlessly adapted, showcasing the team’s agility and unified mindset.

There were a total of 8 teams consists of 10 members each. The teams were engaged in a series of thoughtfully designed activities that aligned with Dufu’s core values of collaboration, innovation, and resilience.
“Skip to My Luo” set the tone for the day by enhancing coordination and rhythm within each team. It served as a fun icebreaker that required participants to move in sync, building both trust and energy.
“Bouncing Ball” brought a light-hearted yet powerful lesson in trust and timing. Team members had to rely on each other’s timing and reactions, reinforcing the need for mutual reliance in achieving common goals.
Next came “Caterpillar,” an exercise focused on strengthening communication and synchronized movement. Teams learned the value of clear instructions and unified pacing to move forward effectively.
In “Tarik Upih,” strategic thinking and mutual support took centre stage. This traditional game required both planning and physical effort, reminding teams that success comes from combining strategy with collective effort.
The “Hole in One” activity encouraged focus and precision. Each participant had to contribute toward a shared goal, highlighting the importance of collective accuracy and patience.
“The Crossing” challenged teams with problem-solving tasks under pressure. It simulated real-world workplace constraints, where quick thinking and cooperation are essential to overcoming obstacles.
“Mega Blocks” was a test of creative planning and execution. Teams had to conceptualize, build, and adapt collaboratively, showcasing innovation in action.
Finally, “Video Reflection” offered a meaningful close to the day. Teams viewed and discussed recordings of their activities, drawing insights from their interactions and reinforcing lessons learned throughout the day.

Participants also enjoyed a series of refreshing breaks, a hearty lunch, and a relaxed tea session — offering valuable moments for informal bonding and recharging.

The event was marked by laughter, camaraderie, and renewed motivation — embodying Dufu’s corporate culture of unity, resilience, and growth. The team walked away feeling reconnected and reenergized, ready to break new limits together.
