Dufu Technology Corp. Berhad (“Dufu”) has contributed RM100,000 to Silver Jubilee Home for the Aged (SJH), Penang, to support the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system, thus reinforcing the Group’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

Cheque presentation ceremony between Dufu Technology representatives and Silver Jubilee Home for the Aged following the Group’s RM100,000 donation in support of the home’s solar energy initiative.

The initiative promotes the adoption of renewable energy solutions aimed at reducing operational costs while enhancing the living environment for residents. The solar system is expected to generate long-term electricity savings of approximately RM3,000 per month, enabling SJH to redirect more resources toward resident care and welfare services.

Beyond financial support, Dufu continues to foster meaningful engagement with SJH through its Dufu Cares, Dufu Shares initiatives. In 2024, 105 employees participated in a range of activities, including cleaning programmes, entertainment sessions, shared meals, festive Ang Pao distributions, and in-kind donations. These efforts were successfully repeated in 2025, with participation increasing to 120 employees, reflecting growing employee commitment to community service.

Recognising the importance of maintaining a consistently clean and comfortable living environment, Dufu has strengthened its commitment to SJH since January 2026 by transitioning from an annual engagement to a structured monthly cleaning programme.

Under this initiative, Dufu commits a team of 12 employee volunteers for half-day sessions on selected Sundays each month, providing regular upkeep and contributing to a cleaner, more comfortable environment for SJH residents.

Through these sustained efforts, Dufu continues to make a positive social impact—supporting community well-being while advancing environmental sustainability.
